Scholarship Opportunity

The Livonia Lions Club Scholarship Program will provide up to 2 - $1,000 non-renewable scholarships to Livonia and Redford High School seniors demonstrating a passion to help others and to achieve academic excellence. As Lions, “We Serve” and we want to see the impact you have made and are continuing to make in your community. We are honored to offer these scholarships as an opportunity to assist local students as they further their education.

The application is open. The deadline to submit applications for the 2024-25 school year is April 15, 2024, 11:59 p.m. Click here for the application. Questions should be sent to LionsScholar@gmail.com.

We serve those in need in the communities of Livonia and Redford, especially the blind and visually impaired, the deaf and hard of hearing, "special needs" children and the communities at large.

For our Blind and Visually Impaired citizens, we offer:

  • Financial support for Eye Exams and Glasses
  • Braille watches
  • White Canes
  • Other support as appropriate

For our Hearing Impaired citizens, we offer ...

Hearing Aid Support

Did you know that if you need a hearing aid(s), but are finding it difficult to pay for one, the Livonia Lions may be able to help you? With a minimal co-pay, the Lions of Michigan Foundation can provide you with top-of-the-line, custom-fitted hearing aids.

  • Guidance to access services and equipment available to the hearing impaired
